Nairn Goods Shed
The former Nairn Goods shed has been dismantled and moved, piece by piece, to Bridge of Dun. Here it is being re-erected by contractors CPMS Ltd, and this page will be updated frequently with a recent photo of progress.

Shed already looking like it has been there for years! It is basically complete now, bar building the chimney on the bothy and track-laying.

Walls now clad and roofing starting to go on. The bothy to the right of the shed will be constructed next.

Dramatic progress in the weeks since the last picture, with walls up some roof trusses erected.

(Poor light but you can see the builders have been constructing the sandstone course on top on the concrete foundations. Some of the sandstone came from an internal wall demolished at Brechin station some 25 years ago - the moral of which is never throw anything away, you never know when it might come in handy! There was some delay last week owing to the heavy snows, but it had mostly disappeared when this photo was taken.)
