The facade of our elegant station buildings at Brechin
The Caledonian Railway has much to offer makers of period films as an authentic set. The superb original terminus building is a unique example of its type, and its façade and large ticket office are well-preserved. Brechin station is one of the largest in preservation, and could easily represent a city terminus. There is also a spacious square in front of the station on which urban scenes could comfortably be staged.

Trains drawn by steam locomotives can be provided for atmospheric station shots and authentic travel action.

The Caledonian Railway also has the facilities to represent the modern railway, with its large collection of freight and passenger stock. Our fleet of diesel locomotives were a regular sight on the main line until the early 1990s, and could easily be adapted to resemble the current modern railway scene.

In addition, with numerous Victorian warehouses and stores alongside the railway line, it could quite easily represent an industrial location from any time between 1820 and the present day.
