Come and meet us to see and hear more about our facilities and activities. You could come to one of the
regular club coffee mornings at 10:30 on Tuesdays - where, if you make yourself known to a member of the
Committee, we would be pleased to tell you more about the club. Contact Anna Day, the Hon. Membership
Recorder, by emailing her at hcscmembership@btinternet.com, Say who you are and give a contact number if possible.
When you have got to know us a little and you are ready to prepare an application for membership would
you please:
- obtain the application form (click) which you can find on this website or by visiting the Clubhouse
- study the Club Rules (click )
- obtain a proposer and seconder from among the Club members
- return the completed ,signed, application form by post to the Club Secretary
at the address on the application form. Your application will be considered by the Committee.
You should not enclose membership fees with your application.
Family (2 partners + children £70
up to and including age 10)
Junior (11-17) Nil
Student (18 – 25 and Nil
in full time education)
Mandatory subscriptions outlined below stand at a level which,
along with other income, covers the Club’s running costs.
The Committee hope that, as subscriptions are extremely low, Members will also make annual voluntary donations of at least
the difference from the former higher subscription levels. These donations are being used to accumulate reserves for replacing
the Clubhouse in the foreseeable future. Unlike subscriptions, such donations can be subject to Gift Aid tax relief.
Ordinary £5 per annum (previous to 2010 £50 difference £45)
Family £8 per annum (previously £80, difference £72)
Junior £2 per annum (previously £5, difference £3)
Student £5 per annum (previously £20, difference £15)
Temporary (visitors) £15 per week
Members wishing to pay subscriptions by cheque should be aware there is a £5.00p surcharge for this method
to cover additional administration costs.
Other points
Guests, e.g. non-member partners of members, are welcome for six visits maximum per year
Ex-members can rejoin for a fee of £2 per year of non-membership
