This dinghy sailing programme runs from the beginning of April to the end of October. The aim of this "Potterers" programme is to provide an opportunity for club members to sail in company. It is hoped that those members who might not feel confident enough to sail alone to places of interest in the Solent area, will enjoy the experience in the company of others. 

During the sailing season picnic events are organised to places such as Oxey Lake, Lymington, Pitts Deep, and across to the Isle of Wight to Colwell Bay and Totland Bay, accompanied by a support boat: see the 'Where we sail' page.

As an alternative to the above distance events there are more localised activities such as, sailing skills, synchronised sailing, B, and "friendly racing".
